Excavation in the Walled Garden continued until Monday December 12th.  The weather was cold but, undeterred, a handful of members continued to clear more of the site, cleaning more of the edging tiles and around the zinc water tank.   The bottom of the tank is very rusty and has largely worn away.  Some intriguing holes have been punctured through the sides at some time, despite there being a drainage pipe coming from it.
